The Havre Youth began bowling Sunday the same day as big game hunting season. There is still plenty of time to sign up for all the leagues. The first Youth tourney is scheduled for the weekend of Nov. 24-25. “The Dewey Sloan” No-Tap is a Jr/Adult tourney. Depending on the amount of youth bowlers registered, the tourney may be held over two weekends. Becky Blake has birthday on Thursday. Kay Buskirk gains one on the 26. Lisa Morrell’s 224 was high as was the 571 by Christy Holden. Lisa had a 538 and Christy a 211 and 552. Norma Mariani started off slow but came back with games of 211 and 210 for a 556. Dana Seidel shot a 203, Inetia Cantin 221, and I had a 519. Mike Hamilton has recorded his third 700 of the season. Games of 256, 233, and 244 gave Mike a 733. It was only a matter of time before the “sleeping giant” awoke. Shawn Mariani went on a tear last week with games of 222, 279 and 222 for a 723 and 226 and 247 for a 678; and a 225 and 223 for a 661. Ken Riska shot a 270 and a 654; Ron Tompt a 622 and a 604; Art Olson a 610; Minnow Mariani a 615; Kelly Olson a 257 and a 626; Tracy Job a 258; Frank Peterson a 267; Bret Preeshl a 243; Jay Burrington a 622 and Allen Stiffarm a 616. The high four-game of 933 belonged to Mike Hamilton and Shawn Mariani had a 904. Brett Antley shot an 814, Art Olson a 795, and Ken Riska a 824. If I am not mistaken, I think the Masters will be on Sunday. The show will air on ESPN at 11 a.m., but you may want to check your local listings.
