Louise Green Martin, 82, a homemaker died Nov. 7, 2007, at a Billings hospital following complications from surgery.
Joint memorial services for Louise and her husband, Alvin, will be 10:30 a. m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the St. Thomas Catholic Church with burial of her cremated remains in the Harlem Cemetery. Louise was born June 11, 1925, at Fort Belknap to Paul and Catherine (Phares) Fitzsimmons. She was the oldest of four children, Paul, Ann and Eugene. Louise graduated from the Dodson High School in 1943. She married Herman Green in 1944. They lived on the family farm west of Harlem and later on moved into town. Herman passed away in 1973. Louise married Alvin Martin in 1989 and they lived in Harlem. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Green in 1973 and Alvin Martin who died on Nov. 3, 2007 and a great-grandson. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-laws, Paul and Alice Green of Cut Bank, Michael and Marie Green of Wilmington, Ill.; five grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
