Beverly J. Staples of Havre, 63, passed away at her home Sunday, December 30, 2007, from cancer.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008 at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel in Havre with Pastor Titus Bergren presiding. Interment will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery in Havre. Memorials may be made to the Big Sky Oncology dept. of Gt. Falls or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Beverly was born Oct. 28, 1944, to Lloyd E. and Mildred L. (Bowers) Carlson in Great Falls. She attended schools in Havre and graduated from Havre High School. She met and later married Leslie L. Staples on March 12, 1962. They later divorced. Beverly was a farm wife throughout her married life. She worked at El Toro, The Eagles Club and Kmart over the years. She was also a member of the Eagles Club. Her hobbies included reading, woodworking, crocheting, knitting all type of crafts, enjoyed decorating for Christmas and had an extensive collection of bears. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Duane. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sandy and Dennis Young north of Havre; her daughters, Patty Davey and Leslie A. Staples, both of Havre; her sister Sherry Pepin of Kalispell; brother Larry Carlson of Havre, and five grandchildren. Services are in the care of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home of Havre.
