Mary Katherine "Kay" (Ashley) Husar of Chinook passed away at age 80 on Jan. 15, 2008, at Northern Montana Hospital due to natural causes.
Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Chinook United Methodist Church with burial following in the Alice Nash Memorial Cemetery. Mary Katherine was married to Joe Husar and was a ranch wife. She had four children, including her sons, Joe (Wendy) Husan of Harrison, Mike (Alanna) Husar of Jefferson, Ia., and Andy (Chris) Husar of Ft. Atkinson, Wis.; and her daughter Peggy (Jim) Allderdice of Loma. Her sister is Jane Bird Tuggle of Helena. She had 10 grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Esther (Van Norman) Ashley; brothers Dick Ashley and Jim Ashley.
