SANDRA KAY THE BOY obituary ROCKY BOY

Sandra Kay The Boy, 37, died Jan. 30, 2008, at her home in Rocky Boy. Her cause of death has not yet been determined.

Her wake service was Saturday through Sunday at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church. Her funeral service was scheduled at 9 a.m. today, also at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church, with her burial to follow at the Rocky Boy Cemetery. Immediately after her burial a traditional feast was scheduled at the Church. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Sandra was born Feb. 18, 1970, in Havre to William and Judith (Windy Boy) The Boy. She was raised and attended schools in Rocky Boy. She then attended school at Chemawa in Oregon. After she completed her studies there she lived in Washington for a few years and moved home to Rocky Boy in 1995. She had eight beautiful children and enjoyed staying home with them. Sandra was a very kind and loving person, a caring mother to her children and a wonderful friend. She loved to help people in need whether it was cooking for them or cleaning their home she always took the extra time to help others out. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo and cooking. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith (Windy Boy) The Boy; her sister Corrinne The Boy; nephew Ronald Eagleman Jr., and an infant son. Sandra is survived by her father, William The Boy of Rocky Boy; husband, D’Armon Trahant of Rocky Boy; eight children, Alpheus Jones III of Rocky Boy, Antoinette Jet Jones and Roselynn Elizabeth The Boy Jones, both of Tulalip, Wash., D’Armon Trahant Jr., Tristian Raine Trahant, Sterling Mykal Trahant, Kariann Trahant and Kassandra Kylee Trahant, all of Rocky Boy; sister, Lorena The Boy of Rocky Boy; brothers, Henry Webster and William The Boy Jr., both of Rocky Boy; grandchildren, Tayleigh Rose Sunchild Jones of Rocky Boy and Michael John “Chief” Gulla III of Tulalip.
