Hailey M. Schnittgen, 22 of Havre passed away unexpectedly the evening of Saturday, March 8, 2008, in Havre.
Vigil services will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Havre. Funeral Mass will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Jude’s with the Rev. Robert D. Grosch presiding. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery. A funeral luncheon will then be served at the parish community center. Memorials may be made in Hailey’s name to the PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) P. O. Box 132 Chinook MT 59523, or to the donor’s choice. Services have been entrusted to Holland and Bonine Funeral Home of Havre. Hailey was born Oct. 19, 1985, in Havre. Daughter to Dennis N. Schnittgen and Jody L. Neibauer. She attended primary school at Sunnyside in Havre, Havre Middle School and graduated from Havre High School in 2004. Hailey bartended at local taverns including 15 West and was currently employed at Boxcars. She loved camping in Montana’s outdoors, reading Ann Rule Novels, making tyedye t-shirts and playing pool. She loved to spend time at home watching movies and spending times with her dogs. In her school years she was very active in soccer, softball and cross country running and her natural athletic ability showed when she became a state champion cross country team member her freshman year. Hailey is preceded in death by her aunt, Nancy Neibauer, and her maternal great-grandmother, Ellen Finke. She is survived by her loving parents, Dennis Schnittgen of Glendive and Jody Neibauer of Havre; her only sister, Cassie Schnittgen of Missoula, and by her special friend Matt Bell of Havre.
