DELAINE FORMAN obituary

DeLaine Forman, 72, died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Benefis Health Care due to complications from surgery.

DeLaine’s memorial service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Pastor Michael Dahle officiating. Burial will be held at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the Eagles immediately after the services at the graveside. Memorial contributions in DeLaine’s honor may be made to American Heart Association, 1280 South Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. DeLaine was born June 4, 1935, in Salt Lake City, Utah, one of three children born to Alvin and Ethel (Reed) McAllister. She was raised and educated in the Salt Lake area. She married Duane B. Forman on June 28, 1954, in Thatcher, Idaho. The couple lived in many places because Duane was in the Air Force. The family moved to Havre in 1970. DeLaine worked as a nurse's aid in her earlier years and also farmed and ranched with her husband. She worked for Woolworth’s and then the Ben Franklin Craft Store in Havre as their bookkeeper, retiring in 2006. She kept herself busy with her gardening, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and reading. She was a member of the Eagle’s and participated in their drill team. DeLaine was a very compassionate person. She was very friendly and outgoing which resulted in her having many close friends. Her greatest joy came from her family whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Duane Forman in 1986. DeLaine is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Bill) Fitzpatrick of Havre; Carol (Bill) Kase of Gillette, Wyo.; Patricia (Chip) Horne of Billings; a sister, Carolyn (Stan) Rosewell of St. George, Utah; a brother, George Dale (Lucile) McAllister of Bear Lake, Utah; grandchildren, Delaine Minnie Fitzpatrick; Malisa Lynn Fitzpatrick; Duane Earl Fitzpatrick; Rikki Marie (Robert) Bridwell; Tyler Michael Kaftan; Jason Robert (Brianna) Kaftan; and a greatgrandson Seth Michael Bridwell.
