Edith K. Christianson, 88 years of age, a long-time resident of Havre died July 16, 2008, at Northern Montana Hospital of natural causes.
Per Edith’s request, a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Highland Cemetery with Pastor M. Schultz officiating. A luncheon following the graveside services will be held at the Eagles Club. Memorials in Edith’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice in lieu of flowers. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Edith was born on December 7, 1919, in Havre, the daughter of Ben and Bertha G. (Heeter) Donald. She attended Havre Public Schools. On February 12, 1938, she married Joseph R. Christianson in Chinook. The couple lived all of their married life in Havre. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Edith also enjoyed fishing and bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a son, a son-in-law, and two grandchildren. Edith is survived by three daughters, Deanna (Oris) Anderson of Lodi, Calif., Maureen (Jack) Weyh of Lynden, Wash,. And Joann Langel of Havre; one sister, Evelyn Beck of Bozeman; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-greatgrandchildren.
