Stuart J. “Stu” Scabery, age 53, a Hi-Line area partsman, mechanic and farm laborer, who enjoyed collecting decorative tin cans and model tractors, collapsed Wednesday, July 30, while working at the Columbia Grain Elevator in Tiber.
The cause of death is believed to be cardiacrelated, but will be documented by autopsy studies. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chester. Burial will be at the Chester Cemetery with a reception to follow. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel of Chester. Survivors are his mother, Glora Lomen of Chester; father, Jim Scabery of Portland, Ore.; half-sisters, Roilene Fain of Woodbridge, Va. And Terri Magelssen of Havre; halfbrother, Barry Lomen of Chester; step-brother, Matt Monroy of Portland, Ore; and several nephews and nieces.
