HAZEL E. (DAVIS) REYDA obituary ROSEVILLE, Mich.

Hazel E. (Davis) Reyda, 96, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at her home in Roseville, Mich.

Her funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2008, at the St. Jude Catholic Church with Father Robert D. Grosch officiating. Memorial contributions in Hazel’s honor may be given to a charity of one’s choice. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Hazel was born Aug. 28, 1911, in Shell Lake, Wis. To Loy A. and Ella Pearl (Daniels) Higgins. In 1916 she moved with her family to Havre, Mont. She married Charles Davis and the couple made their home in Havre. Hazel worked as a retail clerk at the F.A. Buttrey’s Store for many years. She was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church in Havre and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting and making beautiful afghans. Her husband Charles passed away in 1970. She later married Isidore Reyda in 1972. After Isidore retired from the Railroad the couple moved to Arizona in 1985. Isidore died in 1988. Hazel moved to Roseville in 2005 to be near family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Charles Davis and second husband, Isidore Reyda. Hazel is survived by her daughters, E. Margaret Tuten, Lynetta Fisher, and Charlene Patton; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six greatngreat-grandchildren.
