Dan Snider, 71 years, retired from Buttrey's as assistant manager, died at his home on Monday, of a stroke.
Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Malta. There will be visitation with the family on Friday, Sept. 12, at 7 p. m. at the Adams Kirkwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Malta Cemetery. Adams Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his son, Alan (Christine) Snider; daughters, Deb (Mike) Tribby and Wendy (Thomas) Miller all of Malta; seven grandchildren; sister, Susan Powell of Kalispell; brother, David Wilz of Richland, Wash.; and best friend Arnold. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlys, on March 20, 2006.
