"Slow bowling would be speeded up considerably if bowlers realized that in a lifetime they could spend close to three years just waiting for the person on the next lane to bowl!" Hi-Line Lanes is taking reservations for their New Years Eve Jackpot. The cost is $15 per person or $90 per lane with a limit of six. Call 265-5885 or sign up at the desk. A Holiday No-Tap is scheduled for the weekens of Dec. 20-21 and 27-28. Shifts start at 1 p.m. every day with the final at 5 p.m. on the 28th. This is a handicap tourney of 85% of 200 using your Dec. 1 average of 21 games. If no average at that time, use last year's fi- nal of 21 or current of at least 12. Entry fee is $25 per couple. All 300 games will receive $5.One time score prizes will be paid and the bowler who scores a 292 will receive $500. Havre Youth will not bowl on Dec. 21 and Dec. 28. The Holden's Scotch Doubles is scheduled for the weekend of January 24-25. The "Dewey" No-Tap is scheduled for the weekend of February 27-28. As these dates get closer more information will be here. Week five of the PeeWees saw fouryear- olds Colton Dahl bump a 50, Lane Kinsella an 82 with a spare, and Xavier Miller score a 51. Rene Brown (5) had a 67; Elli Miller (6) a 61; and Elly Moore (6) a 90 with a strike and a spare. This Sunday the PeeWees will be bowling their final session. Because of the excellent turnout and the interest shown, Chris will begin a second session of six weeks Jan. 4. Tyrel Kjersem threw a 69, 86, and 155 and Paige Nelson a 76, 56, and 132 in the Bantams. The Havre Youth purchased several new balls this season for the members to use. These balls are to be kept at the lanes at all times for the members to use during league. It seems as though some are missing. If you have put them in a locker or taken them home with you, please return them ASAP. There are still some ball missing from kids who no longer bowl.
