Marjorie Ann (Cottingham) Buholz of Palo Alto, 48, was found passed away in her apartment on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008.
The cause of death has not been determined. Marjorie was born Oct. 7, 1960, in Bozeman, Mont. She was educated mostly in California, but had some education in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was educated for a short time in Harlem, Mont. She was a confirmed member of Grace Lutheran Church in Palo Alto. She married Paul Cottingham in January 1986 in Palo Alto; they subsequently made their home in Levittown, Pa. They later divorced, and she returned to California. Marjorie worked many different jobs, mainly in automotive dealerships and later as a restaurant waitress. She is survived by her parents, Neal and Annaliese (Gebert) Buholz of Havre, Mont.; one brother, Russell (Michelle) of Palo Alto; aunts Elsie Bertelsen of Harlem, Charlotte (Jeff) Burckhard of Havre, and Madeline (Frank) Witt of Great Falls, Mont.; uncles Herman (Rita) Gebert of Harlem, and Richard (Vicki) Buholz of Sun Lakes, Ariz.; and numerous cousins. A memorial service is tentatively planned for early spring in Havre. Memorials may be sent to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havre, 1100 11th Ave., Havre, MT 59501.
