Franklin Jay “Skee” James, 77, passed away at Northern Montana Hospital on January 9, 2008 due to natural causes.
Funeral mass will be Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at 11 a. m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial following at the James Family Cemetery near Dodson. Rosary will be recited on tonight at 7 p.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Frank was born on May 22, 1930 at Fort Belknap Agency to Aaron J. and Cecelia (Ereaux) James. He is survived by his mother, Cecelia Lankford; brothers, Pete (Thelma) James, Jerry (Bonnie) Lankford all of Dodson, Bruce (Faye) James of Havre and Tom (Carole) Lankford of Ronan; sisters, Kay Taylor of Dodson, Jessie (Cranston) James-Hawley of Harlem, Velyma Ereaux of Bend, Ore., Judy Crowder of Malta, Ava Welch of Havre, Billie Matthews and Nancy Tremblay both of Malta; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron J. James; a brother, Gene James; and a sister, Sylvia Wilke. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
