THOMAS C. MAUS obituary JEROME, Idaho

Thomas C. Maus, 35, of Jerome, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, in a tragic car accident.

Tom was born in Twin Falls, the beloved son of Jerry C. Maus (Carolyn) and Sue L. Kreiman (Edward). He moved to Havre, Mont., at the age of 4 and lived there until graduating from Havre High School. Tom returned to Twin Falls, where he got his start in the drywall industry. He became an expert in the trade, eventually owning his own business. Tom was married to Karla Lucas Maus, and they had two children, Chase and Ayrith, along with one son on the way in April whose name will be Tristan Thomas. Tom was an active member of the Jerome Latter Day Saints Church. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, playing basketball and working on his vehicles. But his greatest love was his family. He was preceded in death by his son, Chase Lucas. Tom is survived by his wife, Karla; father, Jerry Maus (Carolyn); mother, Sue Kreiman (Edward); grandmothers, Wanda Mason and Bonnie Hranac; stepsister, Alexandra Walters (David),; uncles, Lee Hayes and Ron Hayes, and aunt, Peggy J. Anderson (Scott) and Melanie Hranac. A viewing was held Sunday, Jan. 6, in Twin Falls. The funeral was held Monday, Jan. 7, at the Jerome LDS Church. Interment was at the Twin Falls Cemetery.
