Joshua Thomas Lowe of Havre, 20, passed away in Havre Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, from injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident.
Memorial Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Fifth Ave. Christian Church in Havre with Pastor Rowlie Hutton presiding. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. Cremation has taken place. Services are in the care of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home of Havre. Josh was born to John and Pennie (Wirtzberger) Lowe on September 22, 1987 in Huntsville, Ala. He was raised in Huntsville until moving to Havre in 2003 with his family, attending school in both locations. Josh was currently working at a group home in Havre. Josh had an ability to do some extraordinary things with people that had special challenges. It was this ability that gave him character and patience to deal with many young cousins, as there were always family activities going on especially when “Bama” played. Josh participated in basketball at Havre High School and played baseball for Havre North Stars. He participated in several sports growing up. He loved Alabama football and North Carolina basketball. He loved to cook for family and friends. He is survived by his parents John and Pennie (Wirtzberger) Lowe, and his brother, Michael Lowe, all of Havre; his grandparents, Bucky and DeDe Wirtzberger of Great Falls and Tom and Marie Lowe of Havre; aunts and uncles Cal and Kim Wirtzberger, Jerry and Lescia (Lowe) Hedalen, Jon and Mary (Lowe) Monteaux, Tom and Glenda Lowe, Toney and Debi (Lowe) Hill of Alabama; Paul and Barbi (Lowe) Ortiz of California; several cousins and second cousins, and beloved pets Georgia Shelby, Sidney, Cooper and Lucy.
