VIRNGINIA MARY “NEEN” KUKA obituary

Virginia Mary “Neen” Kuka, 61, of Havre, died the morning of Saturday, April 5, 2008, at the Northern Montana Care Center, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Her memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Havre. Cremation has taken place and Edwards Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Virginia was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and friend. Virginia was born to Ray and Mary Ellen (Dunning) Kuka on July 15, 1946, in Havre. She married Richard Ness, who served in the United States Air Force. They lived in Indiana, Great Falls and Omaha, Neb. Virginia moved back to her home town in 1972 and has lived in Havre for the past 36 years where she worked at the Havre Clinic and Northern Montana Hospital. In 1981, Virginia married Gary Stuker in Havre, where they opened a heating and air conditioning business. They enjoyed spending time with their kids and grandkids, especially at the family cabin in the Bears Paw Mountains. She most recently resided at the Eagles Manor in Havre, where she enjoyed visiting with the other residents and attending social activities. Virginia was actively involved in resident council and enjoyed the company of her dear friends and family. Survivors include her son, Gary (Suzanne) Ness of Gillette, Wyo.; daughter, Julie (Robert) Ness-Roza of Keller, Texas; son, Michael Ness (Sandy Rogers) of Missoula; brothers Monty (Collette) Kuka of Ulm; Dan (Mary Lynn) Kuka of Havre; James (Cheryl) Kuka of Havre; Rich (Rita) Kuka of Great Falls; Steven (Traci) Kuka of Spokane; three grandchildren, Kimberly and Cody Ness of Gillette and Christian Myslicki of Keller, and a great-granddaughter, McKenna Ness of Gillette.
