Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods reopened on schedule today
Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods reopened on schedule today in its new location, in the building that housed the Havre Albertsons until Tuesday. Gary Leland of Gary & Leo’s said the Osco Pharmacy closed with Albertsons at noon Tuesday, and reopened Wednesday as HealthMart, staffed by the six who had worked at the Osco pharmacy. After an overnight job of moving some of the product from Gary & Leo’s location at 15 W. First St. after that store closed at midnight, members of Gary & Leo’s staff, which now includes 12 of Albertsons’ previous employees, went to work at the new location at 7 a.m. today. Albertsons owner SUPERVALU announced in March that it was selling the Havre store to Gary & Leo’s.
