The family has requested that donations be made to the Blaine County Senior Citizens Center, P.O. Box 790, Chinook, MT 59523. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Chinook. Eudora was born Dec. 26, 1920, to Adam and Mae Jamison in Havre. She grew up in and around Chinook where she attended school. She graduated from Chinook High School in 1938. Upon graduation she went to work as secretary for county attorney D.J. Sias. In 1941, she met and married Gay Fald. To this union five children were born. In the 1950’s she embarked on a thirty-year career in the Welfare System. She started as the secretary in the Chinook office and retired as a director in the Anaconda Office. Eudora was very family-oriented, sewing countless dresses for piano recitals, attending swim team meets, and later doting on her grandchildren. She was also community oriented, active in the Volunteer Fireman’s Association, and, as a staunch democrat, maintained an avid interest in politics. In later life she joined Toastmasters and enjoyed giving both humorous and politically oriented speeches. Eudora enjoyed camping and loved to dance. She danced a mean Polka and Schottische, but her favorite leisure activities were reading and bowling. For many years she bowled with Lucille Nash, Avis Jamieson, Julia Graham, Myrtle Norberg and Phyllis McCartney. They went to the state championships nearly every year where bowling competed with practical jokes, and having fun. Members of her bowling team will be recognized as honorary pall bearers. Eudora is survived by sister, Eva Zanassi of Bothell, Wash.; daughters, Judy Mosher of Tacoma, Wash., Karin (Tom) DeYarman of Pueblo, Colo., and Arlene (Larry) Nelson of Stanford; son, Gale Fald of Great Falls; grandchildren, Linda Randles, Jason Nelson, Matthew Nelson, Curtis Bilger, Jody DeYarman, Connie Miller, and Robert DeYarmen; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Youngblood, Meagan Nelson, Madison Nelson, Corey Lee Bilger, and Lily Kay Miller; great great-grandchild, Natalie McPhail; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, Gay Fald; parents, Adam and Mae Jamison; brother, Harry Jamison; daughter, Kay Bilger; grandson, Corey Bilger; and great-grandson Joshua McPhail.
