JOSEPH JAMES "JOE" DUNBAR obituary CHINOOK

Joseph James “Joe” Dunbar, 91, the oldest male rancher in the Bears Paw Mountains, passed away June 8, 2008, at Northern Montana Hospital due to natural causes.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 12, 2008, at 2 p. m. in the Lloyd Sweet Auditorium of the Chinook High School. Burial will follow in Kuper Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Memorials may be sent to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or one’s choice. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook. Joe is survived by his wife, Judy Dunbar of Chinook, sons, James Dunbar of Chinook, Joey (Jessie) Dunbar of Malta; sisters, Helen Bley of Great Falls, Betty (Al) Sanford of Casper, Wyo.; and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by brothers, James and George Dunbar, sisters, Rozella Dunbar, Margaret Wright, Dorothy Ehlang; and a daughter, Tammy Dunbar in 1976.
