DR. JIM FARE obituary

Dr. James "Jim" Fare passed away July 31, 2008, in Ashland, Va.

He was born in Worland, Wyo. Dec. 7, 1937 to James V. and Ruth (Irvin) Fare. He attended school in Worland, graduating from Washakie County High in 1956. He was a graduate of the University of Washington, George Washington University and George Mason University. He held a doctorate in business administration. Jim was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp, and retired from the federal government. He taught for many years and was an avid golfer and fly fisherman. Jim enjoyed many fishing trips to the Big Horn Mountains with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carmen; daughter Cheryl (Patrick) Fare-Tormey; son, Loren "Larry" (Jane) Fare; sister Hazel Nugent; nieces Ellen and Laura; nephew, Paul; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the local Alzheimer's support group or of one's choice.
