Eldon Dale Harder, 72, of Spearfish, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008.
Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis followed by funeral services with military honors at the Black Hills National Cemetery. Born Jan. 8, 1936, Eldon worked as a professional umpire before joining the Army. He is survived by daughters, Pat Hardin, Spearfish, and Ruth Wardell, Havre, Mont.; one brother; seven grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
