Michael Joseph Douglas, 39, of Box Elder, a Desert Storm U.S. Army veteran and heavy equipment operator, died at his home in Box Elder on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008.
A wake is in progress at St. Anthony Catholic church in Box Elder. A vigil service will be 7 p. m. tonight, Nov. 24, 2008. A funeral Mass will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will immediately follow at the Highland Cemetery in Havre. Michael, born Jan. 14, 1969, graduated from Box Elder high school in 1988. He also worked for the road department at Rocky Boy. He was also a certified welder. He loved to fish and hunt and to watch the Grizzly football team. Survivors include a son, Trey Joseph Douglas; brothers, Kevin (Jacqueline) Parisian of Great Falls, Richard (Diana) Parisian, and Russell (Belinda) Douglas, all of Columbia S.C; his nephew, Daniel Parisian; his nieces, Vanessa Parisian and Leah Parisian. He is also survived by his common-law wife Kerry Winterrowel Holland & Bonine Funeral home is handling arrangements.
