ROBERT “BOB” LEN MURO JOHNSON obituary

Robert “Bob” Len Muro Johnson of Mesa, Ariz., 48, went home to the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008.

He suffered a long fight of heart complications and died after a difficult heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix. His family was at his side his last few weeks and during his last hours with much love and prayer. He will be dearly missed. Bob was born in Harlem, Mont., lived in Chinook and Havre, Mont., and graduated from Havre High School in 1979. He later moved to Arizona where he had been employed for the past 10 years with 2nd Ave Design as a packer. There, he was more than an employee; he was part of a family who really cared for him. Bob always helped those who wanted to help themselves. Living on the streets for a short time of his life, he knew how important it was to help others. More than anything, he loved his family and maintained routine contact with his mother and grandmother. Bob was also an avid NASCAR enthusiast. He is survived by his mother, Mary Novak and her husband Dave of Baudette, Minn.; brother Cliff Johnson and wife Norma of Morenci, Ariz.; sister Dede Scheel and husband Rick of Boerne, Texas;, brother Darin Novak of Baudette, Minn., currently teaching in Po’Hang, South Korea; sister Kelly Harold and husband Dale and brother Justin Novak of Payson, Ariz.; grandmother Dorothy Sinsel (Briere) of Havre, Mont.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his brother Georgie. Per Bob’s request, his body will be cremated with his ashes spread in Havre, Mont., where he felt the most at home. A small memorial will be held with his family and coworkers.
