FRANK ROBERT HEWITT obituary GLASGOW

Frank Robert Hewitt, 67, died Nov. 10. 2008.

Frank was born in Glasgow, Mont., on Sep. 3, 1941, to Robert John and Beryle Virginia Hewitt. They later moved to Plentywood, Mont., where he graduated from high school. After graduation from high school Frank attended Dickinson State College and Northern Montana College. He married Phyllis Jane Lee on August 28, 1966 in Havre, Mont. They resided in Havre and raised their four children there. In 1991 Frank and Phyllis moved to Great Falls where they resided until 2001 when they rejoined their children in Salem, Ore. Frank became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1974 and the Bible’s promise of the resurrection kept him in good spirits. He lived each day to the fullest during his 21 month battle with multiple myeloma until he fell asleep in death on Nov. 10, 2008. Frank was preceded in death by both of his parents and his older brother, Roy. He is survived by his wife of 42 years and their four children, Cheryl (David) Anderson and their daughter, Kira, Robert Hewitt and his daugher, Acacia, Tanya (Richard) Breuer and their son, Torrey and Lee Hewitt and his daughter, Odie who all reside in Salem, Ore. He is also survived by his sister, Bea (Lennard) McBurney of Columbia Falls; his brother, Samuel of Show Low, Ariz.; and brothers, Kenneth, Wayne and Richard of Havre, and many loving friends and family. A memorial was held on Nov. 15, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Salem, Ore.
