Amy Rachel Wall, 97, passed away early the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at the Northern Care Center in Havre.
Cremation has taken place through Holland & Bonine Funeral Home of Havre with her ashes to be buried on the family farm near Kremlin. A memorial service will take place this spring in Kremlin. Mrs. Wall was born the daughter of William and Annie (Wimpset) Palmer on March 30, 1910 on her families farmstead east of Bozeman. She was the last surviving child of 13. She was educated in the Bozeman area. On a visit to her sister in Kremlin in 1933 she met Raymond Wall, the man she would later marry. They married on Feb. 25, 1935, in Kremlin. Amy then assisted Ray in running the family farm. To this union four children where born, Mary, Stan, Leo and Ruth. Mrs. Wall loved to quilt and sew. She knitted slippers for many for several decades up until 2004 when failing eyesight prevented her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond in 1997; her youngest daughter Ruth Karmy in 2007. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Stan and Claudia Wall and Leo and Karen Wall, all of the Kremlin area; her daughter and son-inlaw Mary and Ray Demaris of Prineville, Ore; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
