The Hill County Coroner’s Office this morning released the name of a fatality in a one-vehicle rollover which occurred about two miles east of Kremlin Saturday night. Joshua Lowe of Havre, 21, was pronounced dead at Northern Montana Hospital about 7:15 p.m. Saturday as a result of injuries from the crash, Hill County Sheriff Greg Szudera said this morning. Szudera said his office responded to a call at 6:24 p.m. Saturday reporting the crash. Montana Highway Patrol and emergency medical technicians from Havre also responded. The Highway Patrol said the initial report indicates the vehicle was headed west on U.S. 2 when it left the highway on the south side of the road. The vehicle rolled several times and the driver was ejected. Szudera said the medical personnel worked on Lowe at the scene, then transported him to the hospital. There was indication at the scene that another person may have been in the vehicle. Hill County Search and Rescue personnel conducted a search but were unable to find anyone, Szudera said. He said his office is still investigating that part of the incident. Montana Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash, he said.
