The secretary of Veterans Affairs has announced the creation of a rural health advisory committee to advise senior leaders of the agency about health care issues affecting veterans in rural areas. James B. Peake says the advisory committee will ensure the Department of Veterans Affairs is responsive to the health care needs of rural veterans. Peake was in Billings Wednesday morning, at the invitation of Sen. Jon Tester, to hear concerns from veterans. He is scheduled to be at Fo r t H a r r i s o n we s t o f Helena Wednesday afternoon to meet with representatives of veterans service organizations.
