Frank Bacon, 58, passed away Tuesday morning at the Northern Montana Hospital after a long illness.
The wake was at the Rocky Boy Lutheran Church on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 9 and 10. The funeral service was scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at 9 a. m. with burial following at the Rocky Boy Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home Frank was born March 26, 1950, in Helena to Albert and Alice (Day Child) Bacon. He attended schools at Rocky Boy, Havre High School and Pueblo, Colo. He enlisted into the United States Navy and served for four years. He was honorably discharged in 1974. In March of 2006, he married Marjorie Winters in Sheridan, Wyo. He enjoyed arts and crafts and also was a member of the Rocky Boy Veterans Association and active in all veteran’s activities. He was proud of his country. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gail Burbank. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Winters-Bacon of Rapid City, S.D.; his children, Deana Enemy Hunter, Francine (Bobby) Oats, Gayle (TC) Molina, Claudia Bacon, Trudi Bacon and Stephaine (Jeffery) Henry all of Rocky Boy, Aimee Sloan and Marsha Whiting of Denver, Colo., and Terry (Angel) Enemy Hunter of Lodge Grass; sisters, April (Tex) Fox and Emily Yellow Wolf, all of Newtown, N. D., and Janet (Richard) Sutherland of Rocky Boy; brothers, Henry (Elvira) Day Child of Rocky Boy, Allen (Ann) Bacon of Newtown, N.D., and Manly Bacon of Washington State; five stepchildren; 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. They will always remember his loving kindness and support.
