GLENN K. HAMAOKA obituary

Glenn Kiyoshi Hamaoka, 56, died on Sept. 19, 2008, at his residence.

His cause of death has not been determined. A memorial service will be held at 6 p. m. on Sept. 25, 2008, at the Ark Church at 325 2nd Street in Havre with Pastor Kevin Barsotti officiating. Interment of the ashes will held at a later date in Washington. Memorials in his honor may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Gelnn was born on Feb. 18, 1952, in Havre, the son of Shuji and Yoshino “Dorothy” (Miimi) Hamaoka. He attended school in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1970. Glenn was a bartender and a card dealer most of his life. In 1995, he married Peggy Andresen. The couple later divorced. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his stepchildren, Melanie Bergren and Eric Andresen both of Havre; brothers, Kenji Hamaoka of Bullhead City, Ariz., Robert (Jeanette) Hamaoka of Havre, and Gary (Lisa) Hamaoka of Milwaukie, Ore.; sisters, Doris (Clarence) Johnson of Copalis Beach, Wash., and Ruby Bradley of Beaverton, Ore.; many nieces and nephews; and his very special friends at P.J.’s Resturant and Casino.
