Jackpot bowling is back! The fun night kicks off this Saturday night at 8 p.m. A short season mixed league is in the works. The league would start in November and run through March. At this time they are looking at Tuesday nights. If you are interested call the lanes at 265-5885 or leave your name at the desk. College night is being held Mondays from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. Bowling is $12 plus shoes. Call 265-5885 for more info. The Havre Youth registration and first day of league is set for Sunday, Oct. 19. Bantam & Preps will start bowling at 2 p. m. and Juniors. And Majors at 3:30. Flyers will be sent home with your children the week of Oct. 13. Any questions should be directed to Chris at 265-5317. Marta Allery gains one Thursday and Keri Woodwick on Sunday. Lisa Ritchey picked a 5-7 and 4-10; Julie Mariani and Pam Boucher 6-7s; Lorin Teske 6-7-10; Tony Malsam and Dave Hamilton 5-7s; Kelly Olson 2-4-10; Becky Blake 4-5; Marcia Durward 5-10; and this one a 2-10. Barb DeRosa threw the high game of 238 with her 518. The high series of 626 with a 232 belonged to Christy Holden. Corinne DeVries had a 225 and 522; Terry Wright a 578; Norma Mariani a 510; and Lorna Bjerga a 509. Three 7s were shot last Monday night. Roy Hamilton shot the high game of 298 and a 233 and 176 for a 707. Ken Riska had games of 250, 237 and 267 for a 754. Randy Christofferson combined a 214, 279, and 222 for a 715. I believe this was Randy's first so congrats to him and great bowling to you all. Brandon Berreth hit a 220 for a +82. Shawn Mariani had a 640, 237, 232 and 646; Kelly Olson a 235; Brett Antley a 236; Ron Turner a 631, 613 and 235; JT Davis a 609; Kyle Surber a 233 and 613; Mike Hamilton a 230 and 612; Dave Lamb a 243; and Lorin Teske a 235, 236 and 621. The high four-game series of 998 was by Ken Riska. Roy Hamilton had a 911; Randy Christofferson a 927; Lorin Teske a 817; Ron Turner a 848; and Kyle Surber an 821. It is very hard to get two people "on" at the same time and the higher the number of team members the harder it gets. Christy and Shawn Holden and Cindy and Ron Turner bowl mixed Sunday nights as Holden's HotWheels. A Week ago the four bowled a 2,327 scratch. Christy had a 626 +83; Shawn a 587 +29; Cindy a 483 +75; and Ron a 631 +34. What are you four going to do for an encore? Next week you will hear about another 300!
