James V. Wilkins Jr., a former resident of Havre, Mont., and a graduate of Havre High School in 1955, passed away of a heart attack on Monday, Oct.13, 2008, in Yorba Linda.
He was a basketball and football player all four years in high s c h o o l . He r e t i r e d i n Septempber 2007 from Boeing. He is preceded in death by his father, James V. Wilkins Sr. In 1984; his younger brother, Vincent L. Wilkins in 1996; and his mother, Helen J. Wilkins in 2003, all born in Havre, but eventually taking up residence in southern California. He is survived by his wife, Karen; two stepsons, Ivan and Aaron Nelson; and a grandson, Josh, who has been living with the family for the past several years.
