Betty Jane Keim, 83, of Havre, passed away peacefully Dec. 15, 2008, at Northern Montana Care Center in Havre, Mont.
Betty was born to Earl and Lulu Reppert on Aug. 31, 1925, in Pennsylvania. She graduated from high school and married William James Keim on July 24, 1944, in Allegan, Md. William and Betty had three children. Karen and Kim passed as infants. Her beloved son, Kevin Keim, preceded her in death in 2006. Betty was an avid homemaker and loving mother and wife. She enjoyed reading, bird watching and watching her child and grandchildren grow up. She also took great pleasure in the dogs that she nurtured throughout her lifetime. In 2001, William and Betty moved from Leesport, Pa., across the country to Havre to be near their family. Betty is survived by her loving husband of over 64 years, William James Keim, of Havre, as well as her daughter-in-law, Cindy Keim, also of Havre, and her two children, Bethanie Keim of Billings, and Andy Keim of Lewiston, Idaho. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Fifth Avenue Christian Church in Havre with Pastor Rowlie Hutton officiating. Visitation will be held in the hour preceding the service. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend the services as well as the subsequent luncheon. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home in Havre.
