Former Malta and Whitewater resident, Evelyn K. Brandt, 92 years, a retired teacher and librarian, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at a Glasgow nursing home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at the Malta Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the Malta Cemetery. There will be a luncheon at the church following the services. Memorial may be made to the Malta Lutheran Church Kitchen Project or a charity of choice. Adams Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
