Former Malta resident Duane J. Hoynes, 83, Army Veteran, died Jan. 25, 2009, at Missouri River Medical Center in Fort Benton.
A memorial service in Malta is planned and will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Duane J. Hoynes Scholarship Endowment Fund at Montana State University or the charity of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of the Missouri River Medical Center in Fort Benton for their loving care of Duane during his illness. Adams Kirkwood Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
