Randy was born Dec. 31, 1962, in Boise, Idaho. He left us on March 17, 2009, at the young age of 47.
Randy was a kind man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, quiet nights at home and train riding. He was preceded in death by mother, Carolyn Marie Murphy and Janet Newman, Elizabeth Harvey and other friends from his train-riding years. He was survived by wife, Jamie St. Dennis Murphy; father, Richard Murphy; daughter, Mikala Lynn Murphy Peterson; brother, Richard Earl Murphy; and many other trainriding brothers and sisters. Randy was loved dearly and will be missed by all. A ceremony to celebrate Randy’s life will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church. There will be a luncheon to follow at the church.
