Brenda Marie Eagleman, 44, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at her home in Yakima, Wash.
Her wake service was held Wednesday evening through Thursday with her funeral service scheduled for 10 a.m. today, Jan. 2, 2009, all at the Rocky Boy Senior Center with Marvin Russette and Russell Standing Rock officiating. Burial was to follow at the Eagleman Family Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Brenda was born April 3, 1964, in Havre, Mont., to James and Marie (Merasty) Eagleman. She was raised and educated in Rocky Boy and graduated from Rocky Boy High School. Brenda was loved by every family member in this huge family. Laughter was always going to happen whenever she was around, which is why everyone fought for her attention. Brenda loved to read romance books and also her bible. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, beading, playing bingo, and cooking. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed cracking jokes. Not only was she an ultimate babysitter, but also a referee when anyone tried to argue. Brenda was born again and baptized in Jesus’ name at New Hope Apostolic Church on Jan. 30, 2001, in Havre, Mont. Brenda loved her sons and her grandsons with a fervent love. She moved to Yakima, Wash., to live with her oldest sister, Caroline, in 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers: Louie Eagleman, Robert Eagleman and Stanley Eagleman. Brenda is survived by her sons: Cameron and Brandon Eagleman of Havre, Mont.; her sisters, Caroline Eagleman and Linda (Clarence) Gopher, both of Yakima, Wash., and Angela (Kermit) Corcoran, Carmella Eagleman, and Elizabeth (Joe Azure) Eagleman, all of Havre, Mont.; brother, David (Terry Quincy) Eagleman of Havre, Mont.; grandson, Baby Cameron Eagleman Jr. Of Box Elder, Mont.
