Stuart Mack “Stu” Brownlee, 72, a U.S. Army veteran and wellknown Gildford area farmer/ rancher/ insurance agent, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre following a short illness.
Memorial services will be 2 p. m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at the Gildford Baptist Church. A reception will follow. Cremation and arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel of Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the “Gift of Life” in Great Falls. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Kathryn “Kay” Brownlee, of Gildford; two sons, Steve (Debbie) Brownlee of Billings and Tim (Randi) Brownlee of Tacoma, Wash.; one sister, Sharon (Arvid) Ous of Gildford; and eight grandchildren.
