Wayne Wesley Patrick, 85, died Tuesday Jan. 27, 2009, at the Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be 10 a. m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at the First Lutheran Church. Burial with military honors will follow at the Highland Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Wayne was born Feb. 7, 1923, in Rudyard, Mont., to Charles and Sadie (Gale) Patrick. He was raised on the family farm. He graduated from Rudyard High School and he attended Northern Montana College and Montana State University- Bozeman. Wayne served in the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946, when he was honorably discharged. Wayne married Eileen Holthe on May 29, 1961. The couple lived on the farm, and then built a home in Havre. Wayne was a life master at bridge, a member of the V.F.W. and the Elks. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings. Wayne is survived by his wife, Eileen; children Amy and Ward (Theresa); five grandchildren; sisters; brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
