Perry V. Lee, 76, of Havre died early Monday morning, March 9, 2009, in Great Falls in the arms of his loving family after suffering from a complicated illness.
Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with Ila McClenahan presiding. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Havre. Services have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home of Havre. Perry was born July 14, 1932, in Coffee Creek, Mont., to Ray E. and Helen (Pickett) Lee, the fourth child of six. He attended school in Sunburst. He met and later married on Feb. 3, 1964, Jeanne A. Beecher in Chester, Mont. Soon after their marriage, they made their home in Havre, where they welcomed their only daughter to their union, Tami J. Lee, on Feb. 15, 1966. Perry owned and operated the Fountain Barber Shop of Havre from the early 70s until his retirement in 1997. Perry will be remembered for his love of people and his generous and caring spirit. He lovingly revered his grandchildren and was devoted to his wife and daughter. He is preceded in death by his parents and four of his brothers and sisters. Perry is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Jeanne A. Lee of Havre; his daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Joe Greytak of Havre; his foster son, Mike Fisher of East Helena; and his sister, Betty Hunt of Alaska. He is also survived by a very special friend and honorary family member, Ron Belcourt. Memorial donations maybe made in Perry’s name to the Boy’s & Girls Club of the Hi-Line at 500 First Ave., Havre, MT 59501.
