Rosie C. Melby, 61, passed away at Northern Montana Hospital on April 25, 2009, due to natural causes.
Arrange-ments are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook. Rosie was born to Leroy and Linnie (Harlow) Keele on April 11, 1948, in Crawford, Colo. She married Gary Panion in Butte, Mont., and they moved to Havre in 1975. Gary died and she married Marvin “Boob” Melby on Dec. 27, 1984, in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. She was a very outdoors person, loved dogs, horses, hunting, camping and fishing. Crem-ation has taken place and her ashes will be placed in the Bitterroot Mountains with her mother. Rosie is survived by her husband Marvin “Boob” Melby of Havre; daughter, Missy (Dean) Bowsher of Phoenix, Ariz;, sons, Ron (Kris) Panion of Missoula and Gary (Lacey) Panio of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; brothers, Rod (Shirley) Keele of Hamilton and Larry (Toni) Keele of Helena; grandchildren, Shaylen and Jakob MacAlpine, Ryan and Kyle Bowsher, all of Phoenix, Ariz., Connor, Carson and Grant Panion of Missoula, Gary, Dean and Gage Panion of Honolulu, Hawaii.
