Earl Frederick Keith, 82, an active community man and Chester area farmer, died Wednesday of lung cancer at the Liberty Medical Center in Chester.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chester. Following burial with military rites at the Chester Cemetery, a reception will be held at the church. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester. Earl served in the U. S. Army in 1945-46, and enjoyed golfing, reading, playing cards, model trains, airplanes and traveling, Earl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Wanda (Morgan) Keith of Chester; three daughters, Earlene (Bob) Hemmer of Belgrade, Ryndee (John) Trotter of Knoxville, Tenn. And Rhonda (Russ) Pimley of Chester; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a great-grand-daughter. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jenny Lee Keith, in 1968.
