She was raised on a sheep farm north of Havre. She graduated from Havre High School in 1948. She worked at the Super Ice Cream, J.C. Penney and the movie theater during her high school years. Together they raised two children Jim Sohm and Vicki Pfeiffer. Della touched so many people in so many ways. Words cannot express how much she will be missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Claire “Red” Sohm; her parents; her three sisters, Elaine Stromberg, Margie Cook and Selma Fastje. Della is survived by her son, Jim (Barb) Sohm of Polson, Mont.; Vicki Pfeiffer of Great Falls, Mont.; four grandchildren, Jeremy Sohm, Chad Pfieffer, Brad Pfeiffer and Angie Sohm. She also had five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Olivia, Noah Pfieffer, Logan Sohm and Jaxson Airhart; a brother, Floyd Brower of Roundup, Mont.; and several nieces and nephews.
