Glora Mae (Broadhurst) Heimbigner Scabery Lomen, 79, who enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, crossword puzzles and western movies, died of cancer Sunday at the Liberty Medical Center in Chester.
Her funeral will be at 2
p. m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chester. Following burial at the Chester Cemetery, a reception will be held at the church. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel of Chester. Glora is survived by two daughters, Roilene (Larry) Fain of Woodbridge, Va., and Terri (Mark) Magelssen of Havre; one son, Barry Lomen of Chester; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth “Bud” (Geri) Broadhurst of Ledger; and one sister, Alice (Bernard) Bach of Monarch. She was preceded in death by two sons, Lon Heimbigner in infancy and Stuart Scabery in 2008 and her parents.
