HELENA
Gov. Brian Schweitzer is scheduled to deliver his State of the State address to the Montana Legislature tonight night. The speech in the House chambers is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Schweitzer's spokeswoman, Sarah Elliott, says the speech is expected to run 20 to 30 minutes and will likely contain a surprise or two. Governors traditionally use their State of the State addresses to outline their priorities for the legislative session. Senate President Bob Story of Park City will give the Republican response in the Senate chambers. Schweitzer's speech will be carried live by most television networks in the state and by public radio stations. (AP)
