Mary “Molly” Bond, 83, who farmed and ranched with her husband near the Sweetgrass Hills until they retired in 1973 and moved to Chester, where she worked as a cook and enjoyed many activities in the community, died at Benefis East Medical Center in Great Falls on Wednesday due to complications from a fall.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Chester United Methodist Church. Following burial at the Chester Cemetery, a luncheon will be held at the church. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester. Surviving is her daughter, Marlene (Jim) Grammar of Chester; six grandchildren, Roberta, Erin, Devin, Travis, Gavin and Jayme; and 11 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Robert Bond, in 1978.
