From Glasgow to Great Falls, and of course Havre, basketball reached a fever pitch this weekend for area high school and college teams.  In Glasgow, the Rocky Boy boys basketball team captured a Northern B division championship Saturday night when the Stars, who are perfect on the season, beat Shelby in the championship game.  Next up for Rocky Boy is the Class B state tournament starting this week in Great Falls.  Speaking of Great Falls, both the Central A and Northern C boys and girls tournaments took center stage there, and plenty of local success was had.  At the Central A tournament, both the Havre High boys and girls teams placed third, and the girls team has a challenge game against Livingston tonight at 7 at the CMR Fieldhouse.  The winner advances to next week's Class A state girls tournament.  At the Northern C tournament, the Big Sandy Pioneers made it 4-for-4, making the Class C boys state tournament for the fourth straight season.  The Pioneers beat Chinook in a S a t u rd ay night chall e n g e game after the Sugarb e e t e r s l o s t t o Power in F r i d a y n i g h t ' s title tilt.  The Pioneers are headed to the Class C state tourney this week in Billings.  On the college campus, the MSUNorthern men's and women's teams reached the end of the regular season in fine fashion.  The Skylights swept this weekend and will host Carroll College in a Frontier Conference playoff game Wednesday night.  The Lights split their home games this weekend but will host Lewis-Clark State in a playoff game Tuesday night.
