MICHAEL C. THACKERY obituary

Michael C. Thackery, of Ham Lake, Minn., formerly of Havre, Mont., died March 16, 2010. He was preceded in death by parents, John and Fern. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda; son, Rob; daughters, Mandy (Chad) Landt and Lisa; grandchildren, Samantha and Wyatt; brothers, Dennis (Nona) and Tim (Christine); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was an employee of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family as well as his love of ducks. Private interment will be held. Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2010, at 4 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to service. Funeral service will Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home, Coon Rapids Chapel.

We were so sorry to hear about Mike. Know he is in a better place and not hurting anymore. He will always be with you and in your heart. Remember all the wonder times and memories you have of you two and your family.

Though it has been a long time since I last saw Mike, he was never forgotten.
His humor, wit and good nature is memorable. It is difficult to believe he has pass on. He will be missed.
My sympathy to the family in their and our loss. My prayers are with you.

Dear Linda and family, I am so sorry to hear that Mike lost his battle with cancer. Mike, my brother, all the Larry's, were such good friends. As the younger sister, I tagged along many times. Mike could always keep us in stiches, he was so much fun. May God put his arms around you at this time.

Dear Linda and Family, I grew up across the street from Mike. He was of the first friends I had there. Always a nice fellow, always a smile and a comment. I am saddened by his passing. Much too young, so much life left.

I was so saddened to hear of Mike's death. Know you are being held close in prayer and thought. I wish I could be there with you. Hoping your sadness and loss will be replaced with the memories of this gentle, sweet soul!
