The honor guard from American Legion Post 497 will lead the procession into the Montana State University- Northern gymnasium at 10 a.m. Saturday. The legion members will be followed by members of Northern's Class of 1960, who are visiting the campus for a reunion. Following the alums will be the members of the Class of 2010. A total of 309 people will receive diplomas as Chancellor Frank Trocki presides over his first commencement exercises at Northern. Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer will b e t h e ma i n speaker at the ceremonies. The graduation will highlight a busy weekend on the campus that includes paying tribute to the winners of this year's Founders awards. A total of 171 women and 138 men will receive diplomas. Trocki will hand out 100 associate degrees, 185 bachelor's degrees, 34 master's degrees and 13 certificates.
