Ione Bogut, 85, longtime resident of Havre, has died.

She at tended St .  Jude Thaddeus School and was a 1943 graduate of Havre High School.

Mr s. Bo g u t ma n a g e d Patterson’s clothing store for many decades.

She was active in supporting St. Jude’s school and church and also performed volunteer duties at Havre’s Sacred Heart Hospital and later, Northern Montana Hospital.  She was active in Catholic Daughters.

She is survived by one son, Greg; and one granddaughter, Catherine “Katie” Bogut of Vienna, Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie Bogut; and sisters, Lorraine (Jacoby) Keeling of Havre, Helen (Jacoby) Broadhead of Cut Bank, Mont.; and Virginia (Jacoby) Mickelson of Tucson, Ariz.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, with burial in Highland Cemetery immediately afterward.

A memorial has been established for St. Jude’s school.
